We have loads of wildlife although one cannot predict what will show up and when
Roe Deer are timid and if you are lucky, you may see some (best times are early morning and evening)
Roe babies may be born in the grounds any year about May
Four Red Stags have been seen near the pond & on front and side lawns
Red Squirrels are such a joy - we feed them in the back garden
We sometimes see Grey Squirrels - these invaders are not popular & hopefully gone
I am told the pond has frogs, toads and newts ... and several slow worms have been seen
There are Rabbits too and neighbours by the river have Beavers cutting down trees!
Bird life is abundant
Red Kites and Buzzards are seen every day and may nest in the garden
Other Birds of Prey include Ospreys and maybe a distant Eagle
There are plenty Crows and Wood-pigeons as well as Thrush, Black Birds, Robins,
Nuthatch, Wren, Tree-Creeper, Jay, several types of tits ...
